Legal costs – legal aid, legal expenses insurance and price list

Who pays for the lawyer's fees? We will help you figure it out.

We will find out for you at the first meeting whether you have the opportunity to cover the costs with insurance or state legal aid.

Legal expenses insurance:

Most home insurance policies include a legal expenses benefit that covers lawyer's fees in civil and criminal cases. We will handle the application for compensation to your insurance company on your behalf.

Public legal aid:

If your income and assets are below a certain limit, the state may pay your legal fees in whole or in part. We will assist you in preparing the legal aid application.

Victims of crime:

In serious violent or sexual crimes, victims are often entitled to free legal assistance regardless of their income.

There are always costs associated with litigation, the amount and distribution of which depend on the nature and outcome of the case. I will help you assess the cost risks in advance and make informed decisions in your situation.

Our pricing principles:

  • Hourly rate: As a rule, our services are based on the time used. Our hourly rate is €250 + VAT 25.5%.

  • Fixed pricing: We prepare certain documents, such as wills, prenuptial agreements and simple estate registrations, for a pre-agreed fixed price.

  • Initial assessment: The first short phone call or contact to assess the situation is always free of charge.
